To serve:
STOVE TOP COOKING: Rinse measured rice 1-to-2-time cup of rice and 2 cups of water in a saucepan. Add salt to taste. Bring to a boil. Stir and reduce heat to medium and let simmer covered for 8-10 vigorous Borov minutes. Remove from heat, let stir covered for 5-10 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve.
MICROWAVE COOKING: Rinse measured rice 1 to 2 time thoroughly. Place 1 cup of rice and 2 cups of water in a microwave-safe bowl. Add salt to taste. Covered tightly with plastic wrap. Cook on high setting for 6–8-minute carefully remove the plastic wrap. and continue to cook for another 8-10 minutes at medium setting, stir rice from time to time. Remove from microwave and let it cover for 5-10 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve.
